Dempsey's Bar & Club

1 Hereford St, Sheffield S1 4PR
Dempsey's Bar & Club is a staple of Sheffield's LGBTQ+ nightlife, proudly serving the community from its home at 1 Hereford Street for over two decades. This multi-floor venue perfectly balances two distinct vibes, functioning as a laid-back local pub by day and transforming into a high-energy dance club after dark. • The ground floor offers a classic, relaxed pub setting. It is the go-to spot for a casual pint, a game of pool, daytime food, or joining in on karaoke and quiz nights. • When night falls, the upper level opens up into a full-scale clubroom. Equipped with a modern sound system and dynamic lighting, resident DJs keep the dance floor moving into the early hours of the morning. • Beyond the nightlife, it is a highly popular daytime hangout, particularly for its traditional Sunday carvery served between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
